Cookie Exchange

Our home school group met at our local orchard for a day of hayrides, apple cider, pumpkin picking, petting zoos and playing. It was wonderful. I LOVE THE FALL! We also had our annual cookie exchange. I made Snicker Doodles and they were heavenly. I will put the recipe below. I put a dozen cookies per bag. The clear bags are 20 for $1.99 at Wal-Mart in the party supplies. The toppers were made with Kraft, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White, I punched 5 ovals with the small oval punch and inked the edges with Chocolate Chip. I used the stem from the retired Carved and Candlelit set with Old Olive ink. I used store bought chocolate ribbon. On the back side I put the recipe. It was a very quick and easy project. Simple and fun! Now I am ready to make something else......humm.....so many ideas! Let me know if you have any cute Fall card or craft ideas!

Best Ever Snickerdoodles
1 box yellow cake mix
1/3 cup veg. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cinnamon
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine first 4 ingredients until dough forms. Shape into balls. Roll in sugar and cinnamon. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool. Enjoy!
